The Sarnia and Region Environmental Networking Exchange (SARENE) is a a collaborative project that is dedicated to helping local groups and individuals meet their community environmental goals.

SARENE was successfully launched in the summer of 2008, following a $150,000 grant provided by The Ontario Trillium Foundation. The two-year grant will be used to fund local environmental capacity building. The goal of the project is to help local groups and individuals develop their skills and a communications network, allowing them to participate in environmental initiatives in the communities where they live.
