SARENE held two press conferences on August 11,2008 in Wallaceburg and Sarnia to celebrate the launch of the new initiative.

SARENE is a networking project for organizations, clubs and individuals who have a commitment to protect and enhance the quality of our environment.

SARENE offers your group or organization networking opportunities with other groups in our area. Some of our program features include:

- Information on funding sources
- Contacts to build joint ventures
- Access to a broad range of resources

A NETWORK is a non-position taking, non policy-setting network of
individuals and / or organizations with a common interest; primary
objectives and activities are information sharing and exchanging
views among network participants; additional functions commonly
include providing information about the network and its participants
to those outside the network.
